Upcoming Events
Atonement Covenant Church present’s its campaign for Stopping the Violence and Saving the Youth, a campaign which educates, support and uplifts families that are dealing or have dealt with violence. The month of October, Atonement will begin its creation of a Domestic Violence Exhibit.
We will host a Prayer breakfast which will be held October 20th, 2012 at 10:00am and at 1:00pm; we will begin the creation of our Domestic Violence Exhibit. We are asking those who have suffered, or are still suffering from the effects of domestic violence, and gun or street violence to come out and help us create an exhibit that will acknowledge the pain, devastation, and sometimes tragic endings that have come to families and individuals who have lived through or continue to experience abuse and violence. In support of our efforts we will also hold a fundraising extravaganza on October 27th, at 6:00pm filled with live band entertainment and local community vendors in which we our asking for ticket purchasing of $10.00.
We want to tell the story of those in the community; the exhibit will be open for public viewing October 26-28, 2012. Representatives of all the newspaper companies, TV channels and freelance journalists are cordially invited to make this event a successful one. We believe that our audience has a right to information so we have decided to hold a press release. It would publicize the pain suffered in our community and will also be useful for the spectators.
